Sat nav sends golfers up the garden path!

Confused motorists in search of a golf club in Essex have been literally led up the garden path, thanks to the latest satellite navigation technology. Feed up poultry farmer Terry Bush says drivers looking for Stock Brook Country Club in Billericay are forever arriving in his front garden instead.

Mr Bush, who lives at Hillside Farm, at the end of the cul-de-sac, said drivers typically rely on their satellite navigation systems to direct them through a complex network of roads off the A12. But they soon realise there is no through road across his farm. Mr Bush has now put up a sign telling drivers to ignore the little voice inside their cars and to turn around.
